Move Adapted Fitness & Rehabilitation Society

Stronger. Healthier. Happier.

Help Us Bring The Miracle Of Exercise To Every Body

MOVE is an independent registered non-profit society. Our mandate is to give adults and children with physical disabilities who need assisted exercise a safe and encouraging place to move their bodies, continue therapy and improve their quality of life in the freedom of a specialized fitness centre, not a medical clinic. We are especially interested in serving people with spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons and non-progressive brain injury, paralysis caused by stroke, heart attack, and other physical disabilities. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

Monthly membership is $50.00 per person. 1-on-1 assisted therapy $50.00 per hour

Our Hours:

Monday: 10 am to 5 pm
Tuesday: 11 am to 5 pm
Wednesday: 10 am to 5 pm
Thursday: 10 am to 5 pm
Friday: 10 am to 5 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm

The City parkade at 575 Yates Street has accessible parking available

Everyone I have met so far has taught me something, whether it be how to use the equipment more efficiently or explaining how their condition effects their day to day lives; I will take these lessons with me throughout my career and my life.
